Our Service

Formation

Accompanying candidates and confrères through the long work of becoming a Marist.

Formation is the work of shaping a life, and it cannot be hurried. Our formation houses accompany young men from first contact with the Society through postulancy, novitiate, studies and final profession.

What formation asks

It asks honesty of the candidate and patience of the formator. Human maturity, prayer, study, community living and real apostolic experience are held together; none of them on its own makes a Marist.

Formation continues after profession. Confrères return for study, renewal and retreat throughout their lives.

Vocations

Is God calling you to a life of service and mission?

Every Marist vocation begins with a quiet question. If that question is alive in you, we would be glad to walk with you as you listen for the answer.
